Commander Dan Schisel said they continue to update local media and the community frequently on the search for 46-year-old Wendy Kahn because afterward tips begin to trickle in and, “I took one call myself and it’s just keeping that message out there. Any little bit or tip or information to just have us track that down; maybe we know it, maybe we don’t but no tip or lead would be too small at this point.”
Kahn was reported missing on June 3rd. She last spoke to her daughter on June 1st. Her car was found near the Madison Avenue CVS on June 7th; it had a flat tire.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension helped MPD search Kahn’s home in west Mankato a month ago, and Schisel said they are awaiting the results of any forensic evidence agents may have gathered, “And that can take a lot of time.”
