E-commerce giant Amazon plans to hire over 27-hundred employees in the Twin Cities area as part of a national hiring drive. The huge retailer has scheduled a virtual recruiting event tomorrow designed to train current workers and attract future employees. Amazon announced yesterday it wants to hire 125-thousand workers across the country. That is on top of the 40-thousand corporate and tech positions it announced earlier this month.
