Ariana Grande recently celebrated one year since the release of her hit song’s music video, “Thank U, Next”. The pop star tweeted behind the scenes photos from the music video, which was a mash-up of several iconic romantic comedies. The 2000’s movies Grande pays tribute to in her “Thank U, Next” music video are Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, Bring It On, and 13 Going on 30. She can be seen acting in the music video as several iconic characters from the romantic comedies she paid tribute to such as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde and Regina George from Mean Girls.

“Thank U, Next” is Grandes’s title track for her album. It’s also from the album that earned Grande her first Grammy nomination for Album of the Year in the 2020 Grammy Awards. You can watch the music video for “Thank U, Next” below.
