Mankato Police are looking for a suspect involved in an alleged attempted assault on a 14-year old girl on Wednesday.

According to the report, the incident occurred at Ray Erlandson Park around 8:30 p.m. and the girl was able to get away and make it home safely. 

Police say the suspect is a black male in his early 20’s with a thin muscular build and approximately 5-foot 6-inches tall. The man had shoulder-length dreadlocks, a chinstrap beard and a cursive word tattooed on the right side of his neck. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black jean shorts, with a gold necklace, diamond stud earrings and a large digital watch.

The report says the man was driving a silver or gray four-door sedan.
