The Mankato Department of Public Safety reports there was no credible evidence in an adolescence disagreement connected to Prairie Winds Middle School on Tuesday evening.
Commander Dan Schisel says a threats complaint was made around 9:30 p.m.
“A threat of some type of an assault. So, we’ve been working on it ever since and trying to determine what it was. We’ve determined it to be an adolescence disagreement. The Mankato Department of Public Safety-School Resource Officer and the School and determined there was no credible evidence.”
Schisle added that ‘in today’s environment, the Department has to take everything serious.’
