If you’ve gotten your COVID-19 vaccine and you’re tempted to share the good news on social media–the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Minnesota is urging you to think twice about posting a photo of your vaccination card.

“I’ve personally seen dozens of them online and I have cringed every time, so now it’s our duty to make sure we educate each other about scams that could be coming out of this.”

The BBB’s Bao Vang says sharing your personal information isn’t the only issue. Scammers in Great Britain were caught selling fake vaccination cards on eBay and TikTok. Vang says it’s only a matter of time before similar cons come to the United States, if not already.
