Minnesota’s newest state representative is encouraging diesel retailers, distributors, fleets, farmers and other to attend an upcoming meeting to learn more about Minnesota’s new biodiesel requirement.

Republican Representative Jeremy Munson of Lake Crystal said that with the new B20 requirement going into effect May 1st, it’s important for those impacted to, “Gather as much information about the change as possible in order to be prepared to smoothly move forward.”

The “Be Ready for B20” workshop, sponsored by the Minnesota Soybean and Research Council, is March 5th in Mankato at the Courtyard by Marriot Event Center from 11:30am to 2:00pm.

Munson serves on both the House Agriculture Policy and Finance Committees.
