Bethany Lutheran College plans to return to on-campus instruction and activities on January 10th. The college made the announcement in a press release Friday afternoon. College President Dr. Gene Pfeifer says the institution will continue operations in an elevated readiness format, which will require mandated COVID-19 mitigation strategies. The college has tentatively scheduled COVID-19 testing on campus for January fourth and 11th for all students and employees. Pfeifer asked all employees and students returning to campus in January to limit social contact during the latter part of the semester break. Pfeifer says the college will monitor and adjust plans and mitigation efforts based on campus and community transmission, but the goal is to have Bethany Lutheran open for in-person learning the entire semester.
