President Biden will reportedly meet with top Democrats today to try and hammer out a voting rights bill. The New York Times quotes congressional aides who say Biden will meet with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Chuck Schumer to discuss a voting rights proposal that would pass with GOP senators. The White House has declined to comment on the report. On Thursday, Senator Amy Klobuchar confirmed that a small group of Democratic senators have been working on a scaled-back version of the bill.
