(Minneapolis, MN) — State representative John Thompson is proposing a bill that he says can help end racial injustice in Minnesota. Thompson spoke at the state capitol yesterday, saying his bill will address economic development in underserved communities. He added that every six-months there’s a legislative session that comes here and it seems like certain communities are left out, so he wants to have that conversation and invest. The bill will be voted on by the Government Finance and Election Committee this Thursday.
