On Sunday, July 3, it was the wedding anniversary of Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani. Shelton toasted to the special day on twitter with a photo from their wedding.
“Because of you, this year has been the best year of my life, I love you!!! Thank you for saying yes!”
The cross-genre iconic couple had gotten married on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. It was an intimate ceremony that was more focused on families.
On the other hand, Gwen also marked this special day across her social media accounts, but instead of a photo, she posted a video. It was a montage clip to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” showing some of Stefani’s favorite memories from the ceremony, which included the that Shelton lifted her veil and their first dance as husband and wife.
“1 year down, forever to go,” Gwen wrote in the caption.
The timeline of their relationship started when they first met on the singing competition The Voice, where they were both coaches. After five years of dating, Shelton popped the question to Stefani in October 2020 at a chapel that he built specifically for her. It was the same chapel where, the following July, they would then tie the knot.
