A 27-year-old Mankato man is facing five counts that include possession of brass knuckles and a taser and drug possession, after police found Justin Scarbrough sitting in a parked car with a stoned woman in the backseat.

Mankato Police say Scarbrough told them he was waiting for a friend to return home. He admitted to having brass knuckles in his back pocket, and a search also turned up a meth pipe and a container with pills in his pockets.

The criminal complaint shows that syringes, several bags of meth, a machete, a bb gun, and a taser were found in the car.

In an interview with investigators, Scarbrough admitted that the drugs and weapons were his, and they were waiting at the apartment complex to smoke meth with a friend.

Court records show he has two previous drug convictions.
