(Crystal, MN) — A Brooklyn Park man is accused of attacking his girlfriend with a knife. Cortez Banks is charged with attempted intentional second-degree murder, assault, and domestic abuse. Police say the 27-year-old defendant stabbed a woman several times in an apartment in Crystal. She was stabilized before being taken to a local hospital. A second woman also had cuts on her hands and arms.
