Eight people died during Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival in Houston on Friday night, after the crowd surged toward the stage.

Authorities haven’t figured out yet what caused the stampede, but some people think it could have been DRUG SPIKING.

There are reports that some people in the crowd were injecting unexpected concertgoers with drugs, in the area where the surge first began.  A security guard was even pricked in the neck and passed out, and had to be revived with Narcan.

But that probably wouldn’t explain TENS OF THOUSANDS of people . . . rushing forward all at once.

Another 25 were hospitalized, and hundreds were treated at the scene.  Travis tweeted that he’s “absolutely devastated.”
