In light of a projected $9.3 billion state budget surplus, the Coalition for Greater Minnesota Cities (CGMC) is urging state lawmakers to consider:

“A $90 million dollar increase in the appropriation for local government aid to help out cities with the costs that they have and to restrain property taxes.”

CGMC executive director Bradley Peterson is also appealing to lawmakers to address other critical infrastructure needs throughout the state with this year’s bonding bill.
