About 73 movie theaters and 15 convention centers in the state have been given COVID-relief grants. The state Department of Employment and Economic Development awarded more than 13-million dollars to those businesses on Monday. They include locations spread across greater Minnesota and the Twin Cities. The grant money is part of the 216-million-dollar relief package signed by Governor Tim Walz back in December.
