DULUTH, Minn. (AP) – A prosecutor says two northern Minnesota deputies won’t be charged in the death of a motorcyclist who fired at one of the deputies after a chase in May. St. Louis County Attorney Mark Rubin says Deputies Jason Kuhnly and Troy Fralich acted in self-defense. Authorities say 37-year-old Timothy Majchrzak fled from police in Hermantown on a motorcycle. Majchrzak fired a gun at Kuhnly, who then shot and fatally wounded the suspect. The other deputy knocked down the suspect with his squad car.
