(St. Paul, MN) — A group of Democratic state lawmakers have formed a new caucus focusing on reproductive rights. On Friday, members from the state House and Senate announced the new Reproductive Freedom Caucus. They say the new caucus is in response to some Republicans who want to form abortion legislation similar to the new ban in Texas. The first-of-its-kind group will focus on introducing bills that support reproductive health care and a woman’s right to have an abortion.
