A speeding stop turned into a long list of charges for a Garden City man pulled over for going 67 in a 55.

Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Deputies say 26-year-old Cory Oldenborg admitted to having a couple of beers at a local bar, failed field sobriety test, and blew a .098 on a portable breath test.

After the arrest on suspicion of drunk driving, investigators say a loaded AR-15 was found on the passenger seat, a loaded pistol was found tucked in near the driver’s seat, and additional loaded magazines for both guns were found in the car.

Preliminary charges include two counts of carrying a pistol while drunk, two counts of drunk driving, and two of illegally transporting a weapon in a vehicle.
