The Brown/Lyon/Redwood/Renville Drug Task Force has ended several long-term investigations with multiple arrests in Brown County.

Within the past six months, officials say the BLRR Drug task force has conducted several operations in the City of New Ulm and Brown County, including serving 12 separate search warrants and numerous undercover purchases. Investigators say they resulted in 31 felony controlled substance arrests with many more pending.

In addition, six children were removed from homes where drugs and drug-related items were found.

The task force has seized over $18,500 dollars used to sell or purchase controlled substances, and leaders say within the past six months they have seized 1,388 grams of methamphetamine, 687 grams of marijuana, prescriptions pills and 10 grams of Marijuana wax. Also seized were 5 guns found in the suspected drug houses.
