A 53-year-old Mankato man is facing two counts of drug possession and two DWI driving charges after police say he made a drunken fast food run last week.

Mankato Police say Michiel Killinworth was waiting for his food when an officer approached, and smelled strongly of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech.

Investigators say he failed field sobriety tests and blew a .13 on a portable breath test.

A search after Killinworth’s arrest turned up a baggie of meth in his shoe.

Court documents show he has a 2015 drunk driving conviction and Killinworth was convicted of a drug crime just last month.
