Gas prices are up, but we’re doing what we can to avoid WALKING anywhere.  Sales of E-SCOOTERS have skyrocketed, according to a new report.  And more people in cities are using them to commute.

The makers of Bird scooters say sales are up 60% compared to the same time last year, and web traffic was up 30% in March.  A website called sells e-scooters too, and they say the same thing.  Sales are up 70%, and they’ve had 30% more web traffic since gas prices shot up.

I’ve ridden the Bird scooters before, we should get more than just the ones on campus. SCOOT! SCOOT! New Ulm has plenty of them and it’s a cool way to check out the town.

The cheapest e-scooters start at around $300.  But if you’re blowing 20 bucks a day on gas, they pay for themselves pretty quick.
