A missing Paynesville couple has been found dead and their grandson has been arrested.
Police say 93-year-old Wilbert Scheel and 80-year-old Gloria Scheel were found dead inside their car on a rural Kandiyohi County road around 5:00 Thursday night.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m., their grandson 30-year-old Gregory Scheel was located and taken into custody.
Authorities say family members reported the elderly couple missing on Wednesday after they didn’t show up for a dinner engagement. They were last seen in Paynesville.
Their grandson did not show up for work that same night.
