Fairmont Police are cautioning area residents and businesses that they continue to receive reports of counterfeit 20-dollar bills being passed in the area.

After the original warning in mid-January, Detectives say the fake bills have expanded from the original 2013 series and now include fake 20-dollar bills from the 2006 series.

The Fairmont Police Department is now offering a 200-dollar reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in producing the fake money.

Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
