New Ulm, MN – Brad Finstad, a fourth-generation resident of the New Ulm area, who formerly served as President Donald J. Trump’s State Director for USDA Rural Development in Minnesota, announced his candidacy for Congress in the special election for Minnesota’s 1st District.
“I am running for the future of my family, your family, and our country. I’ll put the brakes on the out-of-control Biden/Pelosi agenda that is fueling inflation and hurting southern Minnesota families,” Finstad said.
Brad is proud to have served as President Donald J. Trump’s State Director for USDA Rural Development in Minnesota.
“Working for President Trump to fight for our conservative values in Minnesota was an honor,” Finstad said. “I’ll fight the extreme Biden and Pelosi agenda that’s devastating our families. We must slash inflation, get control of the border, restore American energy independence and end the Covid mandate madness.”
Finstad is running to replace Rep. Jim Hagedorn who passed away last month.
“Jim Hagedorn fought tirelessly for our conservative values and the people of southern Minnesota,” Finstad said. “I’d be proud to continue the fight for our shared values in Congress.”
