A new court date has been scheduled for the Blooming Prairie woman accused of killing her husband in Minnesota and a woman in Florida earlier this year.
Lee County, Florida court records show that 56-year-old Lois Riess’ next hearing has been continued to July 11th.
Reiss pleaded not guilty in the shooting death of Pamela Hutchinson in Florida. Investigators believe she killed Hutchinson in order to steal her identity while on the run after the murder of her husband, David.
She’s been charged in Florida with 2nd-degree murder, two counts of grand theft and criminal use of personal identification information.
Riess is expected to stand trial in Minnesota for the shooting death of her husband after the Florida case is finished.
