The state health department says flu activity is still widespread across Minnesota, with 450 hospitalizations in the latest reporting week and nearly 3,000 for the season.
In south central Minnesota, there were 38 hospitalizations.
Statewide, there were 111 school outbreaks and 24 in long term care facilities.
Nearly 5 percent of those seen at outpatient clinics in Minnesota were treated for flu-like illness.
Almost one-third of people tested for the flu tested positive, 28 percent in south central Minnesota. A further 21 percent in the region were positive for RSV.
