The former police officer charged with killing Daunte Wright is out of jail. Kim Potter posted bond and was released after her arrest Wednesday morning. She’s facing a second-degree manslaughter charge for shooting the 20-year-old, who is Black, during a traffic stop Sunday in Brooklyn Center. The shooting has sparked several nights of unrest, with protesters clashing with police.
