A former school employee in Montgomery has been accused of enticing a 13-year-old student on social media and taking the child on a date to Mall of America.

A representative of the Tri-City United School District reported a suspected relationship between 20-year-old cafeteria worker Clayton Sauter and two students, ages 13 and 15, in January. The younger student told investigators that she met Sauter on social media and didn’t realize at first that he worked at her school.

The girl said she told Sauter that she was 13 and in the seventh grade, but that didn’t stop him from sending her nude photos of himself and asking her to do the same. She said she did not send the requested photos.

The victim said Sauter later took her and her sister to MOA, where they held hands and kissed.

Police say Sauter has admitted to knowing the girls and kissing the 13-year-old and sending her inappropriate pictures, and also said the girl had given him her Snapchat login information which he used to access pictures of her partially undressed.
