The Minnesota legislature ended its regular session earlier this week without passing a bonding bill. State Senator Nick Frentz of North Mankato says he’s not giving up hope on the issue being discussed in a potential special session.
“What I predict is that House Republicans will come back to the table,” said Frentz. “And in the senate, we’re going to have to hammer out some agreement. The Senate is ready to compromise but it will require some additional projects to go in.”
Frentz says a bonding bill requires a three-fifths majority so compromise is necessary.
