7-year-old Sophie Raho of Manchester, New Hampshire, spent her summer working on her sewing skills.
Sophie mother and great-grandmother taught her how to use a sewing machine, which she has been using to create pillows, scrunchies and masks.
All her hard work paid off. Sophie has sold the items — and raised more than $750. But instead of pocketing the money, Sophie donated it all to a local food pantry and to the Boys and Girls Club, which will put together backpacks full of school supplies for children in need.
Amazingly, people from across the country bought stuff from Sophie, as she shipped orders to 12 states.
