A 46-year-old Good Thunder woman is injured in a crash on Highway 22 in Mankato at the intersection of Basset Drive. According to the State Patrol, the driver of a pickup, 46-year-old Michael Stewig, also of Good Thunder, was stopped at a stoplight on northbound Highway 22 to turn west onto Basset Drive. A Dodge Dakota, driven by 98-year-old Harold Schrader of Easton, came up behind the pickup to turn west and rear-ended the vehicle. Stewig’s passenger, Gerry, has non-life-threatening injuries. All three were wearing seatbelts and no alcohol was involved. The crash happened right before 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. Mayo Ambulance Service, Mankato Police, and Fire assisted on the scene.
