(Rochester, MN) — No GOP congressional candidates are being endorsed by local Republican delegates. Several candidates bid to fill the final months of the late GOP Congressman Jim Hagedorn. The endorsement was heavily debated with numerous votes being taken over the weekend for an endorsement focused on the regular midterm election of the seat to decide who represents the redrawn district for a full two-year term starting next year. State GOP Representative Jeremy Munson led in all seven rounds of voting as the convention stretched late into the night, but he was unable to gather enough support to win the endorsement.
