Per the governor’s orders, Minnesota bars and restaurants are operating at 50-percent capacity indoors, and are able to offer patio seating amid COVID-19, but as the season changes, Republican Representative Dave Baker of Willmar says…

“It’s now time to consider opening up the restaurants maybe to 75% versus 50%, outdoors are closing soon, the patios are going to get shut down because of the weather and folks need to have a little more wiggle room inside to make the bills and make the payments because you can’t do it inside at 50%.”

Governor Walz has not responded to a request for comment.
