The Minnesota State Patrol says Stanek was pulling out of a church parking lot Tuesday night in Buffalo when his pickup collided with a car driving north on Highway 25. Stanek and the other driver were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. His campaign spokesman said he would be discharged today. MSP says both drivers were wearing seatbelts and alcohol wasn’t a factor in the crash. Stanek is a former Hennepin County sheriff.
