Governor Tim Walz is ordering all flags at state and federal buildings to fly at half-staff to honor the victims of Tuesday’s shooting in Buffalo. The shooting from Tuesday at an Allina Health Clinic left one-person dead and four others injured. Walz says the state joins the family and friends of the front-line workers, first responders, and the Buffalo community in grieving those who were injured and the loss of Medical Assistant Lindsay Overbay. Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to lower their flags too. The order went into effect immediately and is set to last until Sunday after sunset.
