Six days after registration opened for the full-capacity Grandma’s Marathon planned for 2022, spokesman Zach Schneider says things are going great:

“We’ve got over 10 thousand people registered for one of the three weekend races already and so, less than a week into this thing, we’re at about half capacity.”

Schneider says they’re a little behind pace on the half marathon with about 15-hundred spots remaining, but still expect a sell-out by mid-month:

“The good news is, if you want to run the half marathon, if you never feel like you can get in, this is your year.”

Schneider says more than 25-hundred have signed up for the full marathon, which has a cap of nine thousand.  He says that’s right on pace with a typical year.
