The State of Minnesota has now 3185 COVID-19 cases, an increase of 244 in the last 24 hours. But Department of Health Commissioner Jan Malcom says over 50 percent of those cases have recovered.

“As of today almost 1600 patients have been released from isolation,” said Malcom. “There are currently 278 patients hospitalized with 111 in intensive care.”

Malcom says the state reported 21 coronavirus deaths Friday increase the total to 221.
