(Deer Creek, MN) — A couple from Deer Creek in west-central Minnesota are recovering from minor injuries after their horse-drawn buggy was struck by an S-U-V Wednesday morning southwest of Wadena. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says the S-U-V was on a slippery highway, came upon the buggy at the bottom of a hill and the driver couldn’t stop. The impact separated the horse, which continued on, from the buggy which tipped over. The driver and passenger in the S-U-V weren’t injured.
