The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Minnesota is trending in the right direction.

“What is a little notable is that there’s been a steady decline of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in the past week,” said MDH Commissioner Jan Malcom. “A week ago today there were 666 patients in the hospital as compared to 537 today,”

Malcom says ICU hospitalizations have remained relatively steady but also saw a decrease of nine patients from Friday. The current total is 254.
