Work on the Highway 14 project through Mankato is expected to be complete on August 3, but in the meantime, MnDOT is reminding motorists to use caution when traveling through the construction zone.

Officials say significant progress has been made to complete the work, but crews are still repairing guardrails, culverts and striping. Daily lane closures are expected and MnDOT is urging drivers to slow down, remove distractions and watch for workers.

Construction on the six-mile stretch of Highway 14 began on June 11 to resurface the road and make other repairs.
