Jury selection resumes today in the Derek Chauvin trial.

So far, 14 jurors have been seated and the judge is looking for one more.

On Monday, seven jurors were dismissed and one was seated. The most-recently-seated juror is a woman who said she’d heard about the city’s settlement with George Floyd’s family.

The woman said she could remain impartial. In all, the judge is looking for 12 jurors and three alternates. Opening statements in the trial are set to get underway on March 29th.
