The Minnesota State Patrol reports a Kasota man was transported to the hospital on Saturday after crashing his Buick into a semi.
According to the report, 87-year old Clinton Charles Gunderson was stopped at Le Sueur County Road 21, attempting to cross over Highway 22 shortly before noon. Gunderson pulled out in front of a tractor-trailer and the vehicles collided in the Kasota Township.
Gunderson suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato.
The driver of the semi, Meril Kohl of Williamsburg, Ohio was uninjured.
