A Lewisville man is facing charges of drug possession, criminal vehicular operation causing bodily harm, and driving under the influence of drugs following a crash that took place last October in Blue Earth County.

Minnesota State Patrol says 54-year-olf Scott Becker was the driver of a car involved in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 60 near County Road 30. The driver of a pickup also involved was injured.

Becker managed to get out of his burning vehicle, but troopers say he was showing signs of drug use immediately after the crash.

A search of his car turned up methamphetamine, an Oxycodone tablet, a grinder, and a pipe. A blood test conducted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension showed a metabolite of THC, Oxycodone, methamphetamine, and Alprazolam in his system.

Court records show Becker has a previous driving while impaired conviction in 2011.
