(St. Paul, MN) — Governor Tim Walz’s order to loosen some COVID-19 restrictions for gatherings, venues and restaurants is going into effect today. Under the governor’s order, up to 50 people can gather outdoors and 15 can gather indoors. Occupancy limits are also being removed for religious services, but social distancing is still required. Bars and restaurants can increase capacity to 75-percent with a 250 people limit, and bar seating is increasing to parties of four. Also going into effect today, all venues can open at 50-percent capacity with a limit of 250-people, but that cap varies for venue size. Masks and social distance requirements are still in effect.
