A Mankato man is facing three Felony drug charges after a raid at a Mankato residence on Thursday.
The Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force executed a search warrant after agents discovered that individuals living in the home were suspected of purchasing controlled substances from out of town. During the search, numerous people were located in the residence and apprehended without incident.
Agents arrested 25-year old Medi Okugn Opiew after locating 11.2-grams of suspected cocaine and 58-grams of marijuana in his room.
According to the complaint, Authorities also found nearly 230-grams of marijuana, schedule two controlled substance pills, 1.4-grams of cocaine along with baggies and digital scales in two other rooms.
Opiew is charged with Felony 3rd Degree Possession of Drugs along with two Felony counts of 5th Degree Possession of Drugs.
Charges for two other suspects, Latjor Biel Gatkuoth and Obed Omot Olok, are pending.
All three have prior controlled substance convictions.
