A Mankato man is facing drug charges in Blue Earth County after allegedly selling 2-grams of cocaine to an undercover Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force agent in May.

According to court documents, 43-year old Leonard Lenell Smith met the agent at a location in Mankato near Broad Street. The agreement was for 2-grams of cocaine for 200-dollars, but Authorities say what they received from Smith only weighed .5-grams. Another controlled purchase was set up after Smith told the agent that they could retrieve the rest of the amount at a Mankato residence.

Smith faces Felony charges of 3rd Degree Sale of Narcotics along with 4th and 5th Degree counts of Drug Possession.
