You can help celebrate the Mankato Fair Trade 10th anniversary. It’s since the first visit by Fair Trade Peruvian artisans. Olivea Boyer, student and Fair Trade advocate, will be speaking June 12th from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at First Congregational UCC in Mankato, about her trip to Guatemala to visit Fair Trade coffee farmers, weaving artisans and jewelry coops whose jewelry makers use recycled materials from Central America’s largest dump. This event is free. Beverages and desserts will be provided.
