(Mankato, MN) — The Bureau of Labor Statistics says Mankato has the lowest unemployment rate of any city in the U.S. The city has a one-point-three percent unemployment rate and is at the top of the BLS list of metro areas with the lowest unemployment rates for September. Minnesota’s unemployment rate is just over two-percent, and is tied with Utah for the number one spot among states.
