The City of Mankato is hosting Night to Unite Tuesday — a crime prevention opportunity for the community, but also an opportunity for people to get to know city staff, police, fire, public works, and to get to know their neighbors.

Mankato Department of Public Safety Commander Dan Schisel.

Mankato Police Commander Dan Schisel says most communities recognize Night to Unite on the first Tuesday in August but, “We do this a little later than National Night to Unite to include the MSU and community of college students when they come back to our community.”
